🏒 Fill-in System
24 hours before each game, a fill-in list opens. Players can add their names to the list. If selected, you'll get a Discord DM and must respond within 1 hour. Costs are:
  • $10 for Rostered Heroes Division Players
  • $20 for Rostered Non-Heroes Division Players
  • $30 for Everyone else

💬 Communication & Discord
All messages from officers will be sent via Discord. If you fail to use or check Discord, you may miss out on important opportunities and updates.

Get familiar with Discord—it is the only way forward. The sooner you convert to using Discord, the bigger the advantage you will have over inactive members.

📜 Heroes Division Rules

🎯 Division Definitions
  • Heroes E Weeknight: Novice
  • Heroes D Weeknight: Intermediate
  • Heroes Weekend: A mix of Heroes E & D
🔄 Trades and Team Balance
Players will be traded to ensure team balance. Club leadership and team captains rate each player for fairness. Trades typically occur between week 3 and week 5 but can happen anytime.
⬆️ Promotions, Transitions, and Handiclapping
  • Players too skilled for their division may be promoted.
  • Players needing a more suitable division may be transitioned.
  • The Handiclapper tool maintains balance. If you exceed the skill level, we may assign you to play with the wrong-handed stick to protect lower-skill players.
  • Refunds are offered if a suitable team cannot be found.
👕 Jersey and Fill-in Credits
Players should be aware of potential trades when purchasing jerseys. If traded mid-season:
  • You will receive a $25 credit towards your next jersey order.
  • You will receive 1 free fill-in credit.
🏆 Playoff Fill-in Policy
During playoffs, fill-ins are generally not permitted to maintain competitive integrity. However, if a team has fewer than 10 skaters, we will arrange fill-ins to ensure fair gameplay.

We have teams from Novice -> C teams!
What are the "Heroes Divisions" ?
Short answer: Our 'protected' hockey divisons!
Long answer: We are grateful enough to control our own division within our local hockey league. We do not run the league, we just have control over the rosters of each team in our divisions. If you're too good to play with the novices, you get promoted out of it! Heroes E is great for beginners.
